Status

• Permissive means that the court currently accepts e-filing as well as paper documents.
• Mandatory means that e-filing is mandatory for the court.
  Per Senate Bill 407, as of January 1, 2019 all Civil and Domestic filings in State and Superior Courts are now mandatory, with limited exceptions as defined.
• If there is no status information this means that the court is not yet using Odyssey eFileGA.

re:SearchGA

• Repository: The case information provided in re:SearchGA from courts operating in the repository model is an accurate representation of cases and documents filed and accepted through eFileGA to each participating Georgia court. Documents entered into the case record (i.e., court orders or other filings), which are accepted outside of eFileGA, may be manually uploaded into re:SearchGA by the clerk.
• Integrated: The case information provided on re:SearchGA from courts operating using an integrated model is an accurate representation of cases and documents filed and accepted through eFIleGA or added to a case record in each court. The real-time integration with a court’s case management system (CMS) allows changes made in the CMS to be automatically reflected in re:SearchGA. These changes not only include additions to a court record, case and document security which protects sensitive information, but may include non e-filed documents such as court orders.

• E-filing payment accounts may be created using Mastercard, Discover, Visa or American Express. However, some courts do not accept American Express.
• We use the following icons to indicate whether a court accepts American Express as a payment method or not.
